The showdown between Real Europe’s most successful club Real Madrid and Mexico’s Pachuca took place at Lucail Stadium, Qatar where Real Madrid came out as Intercontinental Champion
Real Madrid beat Pachuca with 3-0 with Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr all on target. Although it was a one sided final but this was the first time in history of pachuca that they have played a fifa cup final.
Although Real Madrid didn’t get the chance to start this match an incredible manner but their ending certainly showcased a stunning display of dominance. It was no doubt a historical victory for the club and also an achievement for Carlo Ancelotti. By securing this amazing win, he has become the most successful coach of this club with a record of winning major 15 titles.
Previously, the record of winning 14 titles was also held by him, however, in joint efforts with Miguel Munoz. But this victory made him the club’s most successful coach just a day after FIFA declared him as the ‘The Best’ men’s coach.
Mbappe who returned from a left thigh injury drew the first blood in the battle as he scored his first goal in the 37th minute with the support of Vinicius, and Rodrygo. He took the team to 2-0 in the 53rd minute and Vinicius made it to 3-0 in the 84th minute. This is the reason why he was crowned as player of the year just a day before.
This was an amazing match for both teams. Pachuca’s journey was remarkable but Real Madrid’s game outplayed them in the showdown.
